I'm Emerson (she/her).

Born, raised, and located in Chicago, IL, I am a 1L in law school and recently completed my MPhil in sociolinguistic carceral history at Trinity College Dublin.

I have experience in the legal, museums and institutions, and political science fields with skills including research, criminal defense investigation and mitigation, and education. I have appeared in a wide variety of outlets including The New York Times, Teen Vogue, and Fox 32 Chicago for my work.
